A video generator works best when everyone in the frame has a choice. Use these principles when preparing a photo or sharing an imagined performance.
Have permission
Use your own photos or obtain permission from the people and rights holders involved. Use images of adults who consent to this use. Do not use someone’s likeness to impersonate, harass, deceive or exploit them, and do not upload photos of celebrities or public figures.
Keep it fictional
Clearly disclose AI-generated or fictional imagery when context could otherwise mislead viewers. Do not present a generated performance as real footage of an artist, band or event.
Respect people, music and rights
Do not create sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, hateful abuse, threats or illegal material. Avoid using copyrighted characters or protected material without the rights needed for the intended use. The clip is silent; licence any music you add.
Review before sharing
Check the finished output for misleading details, personal information and unintended likenesses. AI imagery can change faces, hands, instruments, logos and other small elements.
